It allows for:
– Monitoring of access to individual elements/functionalities of the information system.
– A possibility to turn on audit trail over individual parts of the information system. Typically it can be used for payrolls and staff register. It records all individual data change, when, where, by whom, on which computer the change has been made, and it records old and new data value. Access to data can also be recorded (EU GDPR Compliance).
– As the information system is divided into areas, elements, windows, procedures …, which users are allocated to work with, typical user profiles are compiled for the purpose of easier administration of user rights while users are assigned to these profiles. Each user can create/arrange his/her user interface within his/her maximum authorisation.
